see it as an opportunity to stop simply standing around taking a beating and start doing what you're supposed to do : kill stuff.
I've never ever used any armor buff for playing in groups, groups that "need tanks" are not worth grouping with anyway. Surely you can bodyblock some foes, but chances are stuff will slip by. Casters should learn to kite instead of constantly whining about needing tanks. |

good warriors don't pug alot, since everyone thinks that you're gonna cast mending on yourself and aggro everything it's hard to get a normal pug even if you wanted to
good warriors play with heroes/hench or guilds, that's why you never see them in pugs and they get a bad reputation >___> and yes, this isn't wow, tanking doesn't work the same in this game, warriors are for damage. there's no reason to pack 5 armor buffs on a war. besides the armor stacking change most likely isn't meant to hurt warriors but the E/D earth tanks all over. btw dellight, stop double posting..... Its sad and wrong that Warriors have such a bad name, especially W/Mo. I have two W/Mo characters (yeah I really do don't ask) and against lvl 28 demons in the Realm of Torment my Warriors have struck for 250+ damage using skills such as Final Thrust with a rank of 16 in swordsmanship (its just a matter of time before they nerf Final Thrust, mark my words). Of all professions to nerf, why the Warrior, when Assassins and Dervish run wild? If I remember correctly aren't they going to actually buff the Assassin with reduced energy costs? That's ridiculous. |

lol i'd rather just run around with heroes in PvE anyway I find heroes + hench a lot better than most formed groups .... as for the nerf .. sure its a bit sad but hey find a way around it ... we find ways around a lot of other nerfs. Assassins and Dervishes aren't too far off a good nerfing ...

"what the hell happened to the warrior"
if you think that a class is useless becuase it cannot solo farm something then u are retarded. That is exactly what anet is trying to prevent. Anybody that says warriors are useless has no idea how to play any profession in the game correctly. and quit complaining about the 25 armor cap ... god damn, it really dosent matter that much |

I can recall some amazing warriors in groups that know what to do. I have been in teams where the only character left was a warrior (with mending AND HH mind you), he manage to kill off what ever was left, and rez everyone else. Took a little bit of time, but it was better than a party wipe.
I have been in situations where the warrior held up a mob until everyone runs to a safe place, and regroup, thus saving most of the team from getting a DP. Of course in situations like that the warrior usually dies and get yelled at for dying, despise the fact that he just saved the team. However, I have also seen w/e drop dead in the middle of casting meteor shower... The trouble is I see more warrior drop dead because of a silly reason in the middle of a battle than I see warrior saving the day. That's what is giving warriors a bad rep. Like any other class, it's the player, not the class. |

On topic, this update does indeed break a few of my farming builds for my warrior, but updates are not designed with farming in mind. They are designed for game balance. I don't see any problem with playing my warrior in groups. Agonizing Chop looks like fun. |
